It is true that there is no definitive cure for RP at the moment and these people can not be helped medically, but our experiences and observations show that something must be done to facilitate the lives of these people. Due to their visual impairment, these patients are not able to do many jobs and can not even afford many of their daily tasks and basic living expenses. Many of them have complications of the disease such as cataracts, glaucoma, Usher syndrome (hearing loss) ETC. and require surgery, glasses, hearing aids, white canes and other visual aids. Most sufferers are still unable to accept their vision impairment, which can lead to depression and stress. This is where RP institute helps them. We certainly need your support in this path.
